Handcrafted Sasquatch Tree Knocker that I designed.

My most favorite creation so far is my handmade Bigfoot tree knocker. You read that correctly, a Bigfoot call known as a tree-knocker. It’s commonly believed in the bigfoot community that Sasquatches will break off a branch and smack it against a tree creating a loud knock sound. Now you may be wondering why? It’s believed that these knocking sounds are used by Bigfoot to communicate with other bigfoots.

So one of the problems for many Sasquatch hunters and enthusiasts come when out in the forest and they are using found branches to make their own tree knocks. First, it’s noisy to trample around in the forest looking for sticks, and secondly many branches are too big, too small, or rotten. I thought it would be great to make a nice compact and sturdy tree knocker that fits in a pack. After many, trials and prototypes, the current version was born.

I’ve been making and selling them for years now and people really rave about them. As an artist, I really enjoy hearing the feedback from customers who buy them as gifts for their loved ones. One of the most memorable messages was an email from a mom in a wheelchair who didn’t get to share outdoor nature adventures with her growing teen children. She bought some tree-knockers and was finally able to go out on a wheelchair accessible nature trail to call a Bigfoot; finally able to share a fun nature outting her kids will always remember. Her excitement still sticks with me.
